At our Progressive Level, we are dedicated to preparing children for their transition to primary school, setting a strong foundation for their future academic success. Our learning program focuses on the following academic areas of Language Development, Writing Practice, Mathematics, Reading Skills & Presentation Ability. We continue building essential skills such as literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Language and literacy development are nurtured through rich language experiences, phonics instruction, and emergent reading and writing activities. Mathematical concepts are integrated into hands-on explorations, developing numerical fluency and logical reasoning.

Through the STEAM framework, we provide engaging and hands-on experiences that foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity. Children are encouraged to explore and apply knowledge across a range of disciplines, fostering a multidimensional understanding of the world.

Our learning environment is designed to stimulate curiosity, imagination, and self-expression. Through project-based learning and documentation, we encourage children to inquire, collaborate, and reflect on their learning journeys. We cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom community, nurturing empathy, communication, and self-regulation. This foundation supports children in building strong relationships, developing a sense of belonging, and honing their social skills.

As part of our Primary School Readiness Program, our robust curriculum focuses on six key areas for kids’ development:

1.Language and Literacy Development – Developing children’s early reading skills and their communication abilities to convey their ideas, thoughts, and feelings through speaking & writing.

2.Executive Function – Building their brain power & developing skills necessary for learning, such as self-regulation, attention and persistence.

3.Social and Emotional Development – Nurturing & encouraging a child’s ability to express and regulate feelings and develop relations with others, including problem solving.

4.Physical Development and Wellness – Refining their motor skills & coordination by providing opportunities for kids to build large and small muscle skills, strength, stamina as well as the knowledge needed to live a healthy lifestyle.

5.Cognitive Development – Encouraging kid’s mental processes needed to think, make sense of the world and understand knowledge across different subjects, including mathematics, science, social studies and Spanish for early development of their bi-lingual skills.

6.Creative Expression – Inspiring kids to be expressive & developing their creativity by exploring art, drama and music through painting, drawing, reading with character role playing and listening to melodies & rhythms.

Our Progressive Preschool curriculum is carefully designed to address the specific needs of children who are preparing to enter primary school. Our dedicated educators guide children through this critical phase of their educational journey, supporting their growth, and preparing them for the challenges and excitement of primary school. We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and empowering children to become confident, curious, and resilient learners as they take their next steps into the world of ‘big school’.

Our detailed curriculum is shared and discussed in detail with parents or guardians of registered kids. Children can be registered throughout the academic year once they meet the age requirements. Transfers are accommodated throughout the year.
